SHOES

There are now more shoes in stock, including some larger ladies sizes – feel free to come and try them on! There are also some men’s styles in now. Don’t forget  - you aren’t limited to what is in stock – you can also order shoes in your choice of fabric and heel height.

Jazz shoes are also available now at only £24/pair. These are great for newer dancers who don’t want to invest in the more expensive shoes yet, as well as the experienced dancer. Shoes are available at both the Wednesday and Thursday night venues.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

The witching hour is near... we will be celebrating Halloween a night early on Thursday 30th October. Once again there will be a fancy dress competition, with the theme of ‘Dress to Kill’. Prizes will included free lessons, and dance shoe vouchers.

It wouldn’t be a party night without a show, so you’ll be seeing some familiar salsa pimente faces. These are dancers who have been doing the choreography workshop for the last 4-5 months – get ready to see what they have been working so hard on!

4th BIRTHDAY PARTY

The photos from this will soon be up – they are not the best quality unfortunately due to technical difficulties on the night (In other words, my camera died and a camera phone was used instead!). Congratulations again to Adam who won the fancy dress competition.

GREAT BRITISH SALSA EXPERIENCE, 21-23 NOVEMBER, MANCHESTER

This congress is a bit different to usual – instead of a one price option, passes are priced based on how many classes you want to do each day – the more classes, the more you pay. In addition, you can book your workshops in advance – the organisers are trialling this system to try and avoid the overcrowding that often occurs at these events. All workshops will be based on a first booked-first served basis. If you are interested in this, don’t wait too long to book, as the more popular classes are starting to fill up!

Prices start at £89 for 2 workshops a day up to £119 for 5 workshops/day. Once again we are organising a group to go up – take away the hassle of booking your ticket/ queuing for your pass etc by booking with us! I can also arrange accommodation and transport (not included in the pass price) -please contact Rachelle to book.

CUBA  ANYONE? NOVEMBER 2008
